Ceramic Wall Lamp, Ancient Obvara Firing, Limited Edition
Each lamp carries a surface that no hand could paint. Obvara, also known as Baltic Raku, is an ancient firing technique. The clay comes out of a 1000°C kiln and goes straight into a fermented flour mixture. Steam, smoke, a few seconds, and the surface is set forever. Unrepeatable by nature, every piece comes out different.
Handmade from white clay, each lamp doubles as wall art. Limited collection.
